School Days

I snapped this picture of my father and little sisters on their way to school at approximately 7:30 a.m. this morning.

I can’t remember the last time my father dropped me off to school. I wonder, did I look as jazzed about it as my sisters do? Did my father always look this depressed?

With September in full swing, I can’t help but get nostalgic about those autumn school days. The only difference is, I’m no longer in elementary school–or even college for that matter.

It’s been about two weeks into the official start of fall semester (we had an August multimedia boot camp) and admittedly, I already feel overwhelmed. Gone are the days of pink bow headbands and complete breakfasts–for me anyways. I have a pretty awesome lunch box though.
